What is ViewBounty?
ViewBounty is a marketplace where indie app developers pay content creators for video views. App creators post campaigns with USDC budgets, and creators earn based on verified view counts.
Is ViewBounty free to use?
Creating an account is free for both app creators and content creators. App creators fund their campaigns with USDC, and creators earn from those funds based on views.
What platforms are supported?
ViewBounty currently supports content on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter). Each campaign specifies which platforms it accepts.
For content creators
How long until I get paid?
Earnings accumulate as your content gets views. You can request a payout once your submission is approved and views are verified. Payouts are processed in USDC on Base.
Can I submit to multiple campaigns?
Yes. You can create content for as many campaigns as you want, as long as you follow each campaign's brief and guidelines.
What happens if my submission is rejected?
The app creator will provide a reason for rejection. You can create new content that better follows the brief and resubmit. Only approved submissions earn payouts.
For app creators
How do I fund a campaign?
You deposit USDC on Base to the ViewBounty platform wallet. The deposit is recorded against your campaign and it becomes active once funded.
What if I want to pause or stop a campaign?
You can pause an active campaign from your dashboard at any time. Paused campaigns are hidden from the browse page. You can resume them later.
How are views verified?
View counts are pulled from the source platform (TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and verified periodically. Only verified views count toward creator earnings.
Payments
Do I need a crypto wallet?
No. ViewBounty creates an embedded wallet for you when you sign up. You do not need MetaMask or any external wallet to use the platform.
Can I withdraw USDC to another wallet?
Yes. You can transfer USDC from your ViewBounty wallet to any external wallet that supports USDC on Base.
What are the fees?
Base network transaction fees are typically under $0.01. ViewBounty's platform fees are applied to campaign budgets.
